Choosing the Right Wax Heater

A reliable heater keeps your wax at a steady, safe working temperature so it spreads evenly and stays comfortable for clients. The right heater depends on the waxes you use and how many treatments you do each day.

Which heater should I choose?

Keep your heater clean with waxing collars and silicone inserts. Starting out? The Waxing Start Up Kit bundles the essentials together.

Why Harley Wax Heaters

Choose a heater that matches the tins you buy. A 500ml heater suits 500ml strip wax tins and hot or film wax in a silicone insert, while double heaters let you keep two waxes ready at once. Use the cartridge heater for roll-on cartridges.

A single heater holds one wax at a time. If you offer both strip waxing and hot or film waxing, a double heater lets you keep both ready without swapping tins between treatments.

Always test a small amount of wax on your inner wrist before applying it to a client. The wax should spread easily without dripping. If it feels too hot, lower the setting and let it cool for a few minutes.

Use disposable waxing collars to catch drips and a silicone insert so hardened wax can be popped out easily. Switch off and unplug the heater before cleaning, and wipe the outside with a suitable cleaner once it has cooled.

Yes. Roll-on strip wax cartridges are heated in the Wax Cartridge Heater (100ml), which keeps the roller head warm and ready to use.
